Generic Accutane (Isotretinoin, Accutane® equivalent)

Isotretinoin is a form of vitamin A. It decreases the amount of sebum (oil) that is released by the sebaceous (oil) glands, and it increases that rate at which the skin renews itself. Isotretinoin is used to treat severe nodular acne that has not responded to other treatments, including antibiotics.

PREVENTING OBESITY: MEASURES TO ENCOURAGE IMPROVED NUTRITION

Education is essential and must cover all aspects of society. The media and the advertising industry are powerful players in today's society and could exert a very positive influence if they chose to.
Within the school system steps are already underway - some by the authorities, some charitable - to provide balanced nutritional advice in schools. An enthused child can carry good habits through to adult life and can even act as a catalyst for the benefit of parents and siblings on the way. Education delivered by medical practitioners in the form of personal advice, information sheets or books, can inform and educate concerned patients. However, after education, comes facilitation and measures to improve availability of cheap and accessible, good quality foods is essential if we are to address the problem of obesity with individuals and in our community.
Much could also be done to prevent adverse influences - on both children and adults - through restrictions on food advertising and by regulating the content of popular ready-made foods. The concern of governments throughout Europe, and indeed worldwide, has led to a greater priority being given both to providing healthy food at schools and to minimizing the opportunity for children to consume unhealthy foods at school. Some schools in the US receive significant financial incentives to stock and indeed promote sugary soft drinks and high-fat food to children. Such sponsorship - by pizza manufacturers and burger outlets - is rare in Europe and needs to be guarded against. The argument that such sponsorship is about promoting choice and brand loyalty is a weak one. The time has come for us to put the needs of our children before the interests of big business.
